Island Ratings® Fee Structure and Refund Policy

Many travelers plan far in advance, to maximize rental exposure all listings run continuously on a year-round basis.  IslandRatings.com pricing is as follows:

First listing of Condo or House - $199 for a full year.
Additional listings - $149 for a full year.
Time Share - $49 for a full year. 

If you are dissatisfied with your initial Island Ratings® listing for ANY REASON during the first 30 days of service, IslandRatings.com will happily cancel your listing and send you a full refund, less a $75 service charge.  Island Ratings is not able to offer a refund after the first 30 days.

If you renew your listing, you do so with the understanding that it will remain online for one full year without refund.

PROPERTY OFF THE MARKET
If you wish to remove your rental property from the market, we can temporarily inactivate your Island Ratings ad though the original term and the renewal date does not change (the renewal date will not be extended during the time that the property is off the market).

PROPERTY SOLD
If you sell your property, you can transfer your Island Ratings listing to the new property owner.  NOTE: No refund will be given.

ONE PROPERTY in ONE LOCATION
Island Rating listings are designed to advertise ONE PROPERTY in ONE LOCATION.  Each listing may only relate to one specific property. The property in a listing may not be substituted by another property.

RENTAL INQUIRIES
It is the goal of Island Ratings to reduce the volume of SPAM delivered via the Rental Information and Availability Request (Inquiry) form. To that end, inquiries may be monitored and filtered by Island Ratings prior to delivery to Island Ratings members. Inquiries may be read by Island Ratings staff members. Despite Island Ratings filtering efforts, it is likely that some SPAM inquiries will be delivered. It is also likely that some non-SPAM inquiries may not be delivered as a result of Island Ratings filtering efforts.

Rental inquires are delivered via Internet email and are not to be considered private. Internet e-mail delivery is not 100% reliable and Island Ratings cannot be held responsible for undelivered inquiries or for missed income as a result of undelivered inquiries. Island Ratings, at its own discretion, may supply to potential renters the direct e-mail address and or phone number of Island Ratings advertisers for the purpose of making a rental inquiry.

MEMBERSHIP POLICIES
Island Ratings reserves the right to reject or edit any ad submitted at our sole discretion. Once material has been submitted, edited and posted on the Island Ratings web site, it becomes the property of Island Ratings and its affiliated sites and may not be copied from the Island Ratings web site without written permission.

LOCAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Property owners are responsible for investigating and adhering to all local regulations including, but not limited to permits, licenses, occupancy taxes, and safety compliance.

ACCEPTABLE CONTENT
Advertisers are expected to follow the Acceptable Content Policies. Ads which do not adhere to these policies are subject to cancellation at the sole discretion of Island Ratings.

ACCEPTABLE CONTENT POLICIES
These policies are established in order to preserve a fair and orderly site for the advertisement of vacation rental properties AND in order to maintain a "family safe" environment.  Note that these policies are subject to periodic review and may be updated at any time.

There are specific locations for the inclusion of web addresses (also referred to as "links" or URL's) and e-mail addresses in the Island Ratings® listings.
